GANNETS IN CANADA

It’s home to the second largest gannetry in the world (the largest being off the coast of Scotland).

But unlike the one in the St Kilda archipelago, the gannetry on Bonaventure Island, off the coast of Quebec in Canada, is accessible on foot – and there is just a rope between you and the thousands of birds nesting there.
